Mexico’s Cave of Crystals, photographed by Carsten Peter, Speleoresearch & Films (featured on National Geographic’s Picture of the Day). This is absolutely mind blowing. If you cover up the explorers in the picture, the cave looks like the center of a geode - but it’s not. Those crystals must be ten men high at least.
